Alan

Alan Hollis

Chief Executive Officer

Alan joined the Board of AMTE Power in September 2022 and as CEO is leading the business as it accelerates its growth strategy.

Alan has a 20-year public company track record of developing and executing profitable growth strategies within engineering and manufacturing businesses with turnovers ranging from £4m-£200m.

In his last two roles he was a Divisional CEO in Videndum (Vitec) Group plc (“Videndum”) from 2015 to 2021, and a Divisional President in the USA in a division of NYSE listed Crane Co. from 2014 to 2015.

In Videndum, one of Alan’s portfolio businesses was the market leading cine and broadcast battery design & manufacturer Anton Bauer. Previously, Alan held leadership roles within the automotive and aerospace component and system supply businesses of Doncasters Group, Firth Rixson and the PFW Group, as well as in the materials businesses of Delloro Stellite and Weir plc.

Anita

Anita Breslin

Chief Financial Officer

Anita brings more than 20 years’ experience in financial and commercial operations, most recently as Group Finance Director at Blue International Group, a privately owned Integrated mining, energy, and infrastructure business in Sub-Sahara Africa. Prior to this, Anita worked at Joule Africa, a renewable energy business as Interim CEO and CFO and has also held senior roles at Vattenfall Heat UK Ltd and BG Group plc.

John

John Burrin

Head of Industrialisation

John joined the business in 2020 with a remit to drive our industrialisation strategy in the UK and overseas. He has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and in the built environment, working with firms such as Tesco, Grant Thornton and Savills to oversee wide-ranging estates strategies and to build out construction projects. He has developed new products and delivered manufacturing systems including for large-scale offsite manufacturing facilities.

Kevin

Kevin Brundish

Strategy Director

Kevin is a founder and director of AMTE Power. He is a successful business leader with over 25 years’ experience within publicly traded and private companies, including knowledge of fund raising and merger and acquisition processes. Kevin has worked with world-leading engineering businesses such as Rolls Royce and Siemens and has taken technology firms through concept, design and into production. He is also a member of the Faraday Challenge advisory board and has been part of the industry group advising the top tier of government on batteries.

Steve

Steve Farmer

Innovation Director

Steve is a joint founder of the business and previously ran AMTE Power’s predecessor AGM Batteries. Steve heads up our projects and battery cell development teams, creating the next generation of technologies that will power the vehicles of the future and maximise renewable energy output. He has over 30 years’ experience working in high-tech R&D and production including leading complex teams and propositions for customers such as UK-MoD, DoD and equipment OEMs in aerospace, automotive, defence and energy.

Stuart

Stuart Paterson

Head of Operations

Stuart joined AMTE Power in 2019, bringing over 20 years of battery industry experience. He has held engineering, production and operations management roles within Japanese and American companies. He has set up and managed production operations in Europe, as well as for UK plants. Stuart was one of the founding members and owners of MPower, a battery business based in Dundee, whose subsequent owners include Axeon, Johnson Matthey and Cummins Inc.

Wesley Simons

Corporate Development Director

Wes is driving the development and deployment of AMTE Power’s growth strategy and business plan. He has 15 years’ experience built primarily in the automotive industry with a focus on strategy, transformation and programme management. Prior to joining AMTE Power, Wes was responsible for business planning at Britishvolt before holding multiple senior roles at Bentley Motors including a multibillion-euro strategy and transformation programme. Wes also has international experience in Africa and Australia and started his career at Toyota Manufacturing UK.

Paul Tillett

Paul Tillett

Interim Commercial and Sales Director

Paul has been an investor in AMTE Power since 2014 and has held a number of advisory roles within the business. In his current role as Interim Commercial and Sales Director, he oversees the sales team and the go-to market strategy for AMTE Power. He brings over 30 years’ experience from the financial services industry. He has worked at various investment banks and brokers, including SBC Warburg, Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital.

Supply Chain Director

John brings more than 20 years’ experience in supply chain and procurement operations for global organisations in diverse and complex business settings. In his last two roles he was Procurement Director at Britishvolt and Global Procurement Director at Weatherford International, an international oil & gas service company. Prior to this, John worked for Halliburton and Baker Hughes, also oil & gas service companies, holding several senior supply chain positions in UK, USA & UAE.
